Tips for Preventing Tooth Decay and Infection
Local and top dentists would agree.. your permanent set of teeth cannot grow back once you lose them. Therefore, you should do everything humanly possible to preserve them. That means you have to take necessary steps to prevent decay and infection from occurring. The following are just a few dental tips you can use to do that.

Brush and Floss Twice Daily

Brushing your teeth and using dental floss are going to be your most powerful decay prevention methods according to certified dentists. You should at least brush once when you wake up in the morning and then another time before you go to bed. You should use floss before you brush. You don’t have to limit it to two times per day, however. You can do it as many times as you see fit.

Eliminate Sugars

Refined sugars are some of the harshest elements to your teeth. Making some small dietary changes to remove the refined sugar can improve your dental health immensely. Try chewing sugar-free gum and eating honey instead of the refined white sugar. Honey is just as sweet, and it’s not as harmful to your body or your teeth.

Take care of what you have or cosmetic dentistry procedures may be in your near future.
