This is an almighty suspending minnow for any style of angler. Anglers can steadily retrieve it, twitch and jerk or consecutively twitch using various rod work. We have employed a fixed weight for sharp and quick darting action. By carefully setting the weight in rear end of the lure, its casting distance and accuracy is comparable to those moving weight systems.

The realistic form of the lure imitates pond smelt which are the main baitfish for bass, producing bites in high pressure fields.

The Tide-Minnow 150 Surf was conceived to target the bigger seabass that feed on larger bait-fish.  This is a user-friendly minnow which has none of the negative characteristics of most other large lures on the market, such as difficulty casting or a heavy feel while reeling.  While it handles surprisingly easily, this minnow does have a large body that ensures a superior ability to attract game fish.

Magnet-Assisted Moving Weight
By stabilizing the movement of the steel ball weight with a magnet, we have realized a more active balance. Also, the steel ball is lighter compared to other metals, allowing for a quicker stabilizing response.

Weight Distribution
Rather than placing a large moving weight in the body, we have used a fixed weight in the rear of the lure as its main weight. The moving weight’s counterbalancing role becomes auxiliary, creating a large lure castable even with a seabass rod.

Shallow Range
Large minnows are generally productive not only in surf and off the rocks but also in shallow rivers and over sand bars. With this in mind, we have set a shallow diving depth, making it possible to retrieve the lure dead slow while still tracing it right underneath the surface of the water.

ZYG-ZAG is a typical glider. It should be presented with short jerks, then it glides left and right. With fast retrieve it sometimes dives, sometimes glides to the surface, imitating wounded or sick prey. During the colder seasons it works better with a very slow and gentle presentation, with few seconds’ pauses, that allow it to dive slowly, still wobbling its body. This type of presentation is very tempting for large predators.

Dieser Jerk setzt neue Standards. Er bricht vehement nach links und rechts aus und erregt so die Aufmerksamkeit der Räuber. Die Stahlkugeln sorgen zusätzlich für reichlich Lärm. Da dieser Jerk langsam sinkend ist, lässt er sich auch hervorragend in Grundnähe fischen. Sehr gute Wurfeigenschaften. GEHEIMTIPP: Beim Testen konnten wir mit dem Jerk beim Schleppen(!) einige sehr große Hechte überlisten. Unbedingt ausprobieren!

Das Angeln mit schwebenden Wobblern (sog. Suspender) ist aufgrund ihrer enormen Fängigkeit in
den letzten Jahren äußerst populär geworden. Das große Problem bei diesen Wobblern ist, dass
das Schwebeverhalten durch die Verwendung von Wirbeln und Stahlvorfächern negativ beeinflusst
wird und der Wobbler nicht mehr schwebt, sondern sinkt. Und gerade bei den Einholstopps, wenn
der Wobbler dann im Wasser schwebt, erfolgt oftmals der Biss.

Wir schaffen jetzt Abhilfe:
Bei den SuperSpender Wobblern wird der richtige Wirbel (je 2 Stück bei den 5 cm Wobblern) bzw.
1 7×7 Stahlvorfach (bei 7 und 9 cm) gleich mitgeliefert, damit der Wobbler optimal austariert ist!
Weiterer Vorteil: Fischen Sie ihn mit den beiliegenden Wirbeln bzw. 7×7 Stahlvorfach, schwebt er
optimal im Wasser, wenn Sie anstelle des Wirbels bzw. Stahlvorfachs einen Schlaufenknoten verwenden,
haben Sie einen Schwimmwobbler!
